How to get to Coachella
The location: EMPIRE POLO FIELD 81-800 AVENUE 51 INDIO, CA 92201
- If you have a smartphone, here is a Google map of the Coachella polo field where the concert is being held.
- If you just want to wing it: From L.A. take the 10 freeway east for a couple hours. Get off at Monroe St. and head south until you hit the field. If you don’t know which way south is, head right off the freeway.
Tips for Coachella
- Drink a lot of water days before going there. It’s in the middle of a desert so it gets hot and they charge a lot for water.
- If you plan on getting naked, the security guards might taze you. Keep that in mind.
- Have fun.
