Dam Funk picked it back up.
This is what the world has
been missing for a while...

Regarded as “Ambassador of
Boogie Funk” of the Los
Angeles, Damon G. Riddick also
known as Dam-Funk is an
American Funk singer,
producer, and DJ from
Pasadena, California. He
released his LPs after
modifying them in his album
“Toeachizown” in 2009. He
is more interested in getting
back to the original Boogie
music of the 80’s. Other
genres that he works with are
Electro-Funk and Modern Soul.

Being a DJ and boogie fan
himself, he attracts admirers
of the same genre lovers. And
the funky atmosphere that
builds up in his parties is
something you won’t find too
often. With his modern
compositions he is trying to
bring back the somewhat lost
west coast tradition. It’s
certainly a difficult job to
bring back the boogie style
into the today’s scene but
only (if any) Dam Funk can
bring back the lost spirit of
the funk music. May he succeed
in his mission and may his
parties always have
funkmosphere.
