(of his music) at the Roadium
Swap Meet in Gardena CA. You

Andre Romelle Young (Born
February 1965) is an award
winning rapper musician and
producer, popularly known as
Dr.Dre who became the star of
hip hop industry. He started
as a DJ in a club. In 1984 he
joined the musical group
Wreckin’ Cru under the label
Kru-Cut Records and reached
the top with his first big hit
"Surgery". Dr. Dre has
introduced his own style
describing street violence
with his top hit "Fuck the
Police”. In 1990's Dr. Dre
joined the Death Row Records
under which he experimented a
new style of Rap music with
his solo album "Chronic" which
was a big hit of 1990's and
earned him the Grammy award as
the best solo rapper due to
his hit single "Let Me
Ride”. He was also ranked as
the highest selling artist and
"Chronic" the best selling
album.
In 1996 with an unsuccessful
start of Aftermath
Entertainment due to some
financial dispute with his
previous labels, The Aftermath
Entertainment though
criticized by critics, reached
to the top of billboard. He
worked with other artists. He
won the Grammy award for the
Best producer in 2000. His
production of three songs in
"Eminem Show" won best video
award for "Without Me”. In
2001 Dr. Dre started appearing
in movies. He also started
producing biographical movies.
Dr. Dre had a successful
career. He is a perfectionist
of his own style and
introduced his individual
style with which he reached
new heights in the music
industry.
