Israel Vibration is a reggae
harmony trio that was
originated from Kingston,
Jamaica. The trio consist of
Lascelle "Wiss" Bulgin, Albert
"Apple Gabriel" Craig, and
Cecil "Skeleton" Spence. They
all surpassed their childhood
polio and become to be one of
the most successful roots
groups that was form in
Jamaica in the 1970. The trio
was originally met at the
rehabilitation center when
they are children having
polio.
In 1969, they reunited in
Kingston and formed a vocal
group as a trio. The fund used
for their first album came in
the Rastafari Movement (Twelve
Tribes of Israel branch) after
Hugh Booth (a member of the
Twelve Tribes) had heard the
trio were singing in a wooded
area outside Kingston.Bulgin
and Craig were residing in
that area which they had
converted into a home.
In 1977, after releasing a
single called "Why Worry", the
trio recorded three albums
namely "The Same Song",
"Unconquered People", and "Why
You So Craven" before their
temporary broke up in 1981
after recording sessions were
left undone. The three guys
migrated to the United States
to search for professional
health care. Gary "Dr. Dread"
Himmelfarb (founder of RAS
Records) encourage the trio to
reunite and record an album in
1988. Bulgin, Craig and Spence
go to Washington, D.C. to
record a new album at Lion and
Fox Recording Studios
