Justice

Justice is a French
electronic music duo(origin:
Paris,France). The member
consisting of Gaspard Augé,
he was born May 21, 1979 in
Besançon and Xavier de
Rosnay, he was born July 2,
1982 in Rosnay). Justice is
one of the most successful
groups by Ed Banger Records
which is managed by Pedro
Winter, the label's head.The
duo is known for their rock
and indie influence into their
music and image.

Their debut album was released
in June 2007. The album was
nominated for a for "Best
Electronic/Dance Album" in
Grammy Award and came on
Pitchfork's Top 50 Albums of
2007at number 15 and number 18
on Blender's "25 Best Albums
of 2007" list.It was also
nominated for the 2007
Shortlist Prize, it is lost to
The Reminder by Feist. Their
remix of the MGMT song
"Electric Feel" won for Best
Remixed Recording,
Non-Classical in 2009 in the
Grammy Award.

In June 2009, Justice would
be moving to newly relaunched
Elektra Records label by
WMG/Atlantic. In mid-2010, the
band reportedly started
working on their second album
with no release date yet.

The duo's first produced
tracks together "Hits Up To
You," for Musclorvision.
Justice first came to
prominence through their 2003
remix of Simian's track "Never
Be Alone", created for a Paris
college radio station's remix
contest
