Ryan Raddon better known as
Kaskade, is an American DJ and
record producer. Kaskade took
his stage name from a nature
book when he saw a picture of
a waterfall and a co-worker
agreed "cascade" was a good
choice, but he then changed
the spelling. He was born
February 25, 1971 in Evanston,
Illinois. On October 27, 2010,
DJ Magazine announced the
results of their annual Top
100 DJ Poll, with Ultra
Records Kaskade placed at #35
On October 27, 2010.He is the
brother of Rich Raddon. During
1989-1990 he attended Brigham
Young University in
Provo,honing his DJ skills in
his dorm room at DT. He moved
in 1992 to Salt Lake City to
attend the University of Utah.
During this time he owned and
operated a local record store,
Mechanized Records. Kaskade
moved to San Francisco and
began working as an A&R
assistant for Om Records on
May 2000. in 2001, he released
his first single "What I Say"
on the label .Ryan is from
Chicago, has lived in LA,
Tokyo, New York, and San
Francisco which earned him the
name "Big City". Ryan is
currently married to Naomi
Raddon, he is fluent in
Japanese.
In the late 2006, Upon signing
with Ultra Records Kaskade
subsequently left Om Records
and now only releases with the
former.
