Lagwagon is an American punk
rock band from Goleta,
California, United States .
The band name comes from the
band's old van, which has the
picture on the back cover of
the album Trashed. The
Lagwagon has 10 released
albums through Fat Wreck
Chords: one EP, one live
album, seven studio albums,
and a collection of B-sides,
compilation of demos and
tracks.
In 1992, After signing to Fat
Wreck Chords, Lagwagon
released their debut album,
Duh. Two years later, the band
released the album Trashed,
their second record on Fat
Wreck Chords, which is became
successful, turn to the
production of the video for
"Island of Shame." . The Hoss,
it is the third Lagwagon
album. It was released on
November 21, 1995. After the
release of the said album,
Shawn Dewey and Derrick
Plourde leave the band and be
replaced for the meantime by
Ken Stringfellow on guitar,
and permanently on drums by
Dave Raun. After two albums,
Let's Talk About Feelings and
Double Plaidinum , the band
went on several break ups.
In 2004, Joey Cape released an
album No Use for a Name with
vocalist Tony Sly. Lagwagon
released the album Resolve, in
November 1, 2005. In 2008, the
band released an EP titled "I
Think My Older Brother Used to
Listen to Lagwagon". There are
rumors that the band is
recording their next album,
but Lagwagon undergo break
ups, it is because Cape launch
his solo career.
