Led Zeppelin is an English
rock band. The band was formed
in 1968 with the member that
consists of guitarist Jimmy
Page, singer Robert Plant,
drummer John Bonham and
bassist John Paul Jones. Led
Zeppelin is considered as one
of the founder of hard rock
and heavy metal although the
band's music style surpass any
other music genre.
In October 4, 1968, Led
Zeppelin made their live debut
at the Mayfair Ballroom,
Newcastle. A US concert debut
is followed on 26 December
1968 before going on to the
west coast for their
appearance in cities like Los
Angeles and San Francisco. The
album is a combination of of
blues, folk and eastern
influences with amplified
distortion that leads it to
the making of heavy metal
music. Robert Plant has stated
that "it is unfair for people
to typecast the band as heavy
metal" because almost of their
songs was acoustic. In the
band's first album, Robert
doesn't credited in his share
in the hitmaking. The album
had earn $7,000,000 in 1975.
Temporarily they used the name
"The Nobs" it is because the
controversy in Copenhagen
where Eva von Zeppelin threat
them to do a legal action.
According to Eva, their family
name must not be used without
any permission.
