Neil Percival Young is a
Canadian singer-songwriter. He
was born in Toronto General
Hospital, Toronto, Canada at
6:45 AM on November 12, 1945.
He is greatly respected as one
of the most leading musicians
of his generation. He start
playing as a solo artist in
1960 in Canada before he
transfer to California in
1966. This is where they
founded the band "Buffalo
Springfield" also with Stephen
Stills and afterwards Crosby,
Stills & Nash joined as a
fourth member in 1969. He then
imitate a successful and
acclaimed solo career which he
release his first album in
1968. His career has extended
over 40 years and 34 studio
albums with a continuous and
rigid search of musical
styles. The website of Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame
characterized him as "one of
rock and roll’s greatest
songwriters and performers".
He has been initiated into the
Hall of Fame twice: the first
one as a solo artist in 1995
and second as a member of
Buffalo Springfield in 1997.
Neil Young's music is
described by his unique guitar
work, more personal lyrics and
his trademark falsetto/tenor
singing voice.But he associate
himself with few different
instruments which include
piano and harmonica, his
distinctive electric and
clawhammer acoustic guitar
