Stone Roses

This band is such a weird
story. I don't recall them
getting much air play in
America, but their first album
was insanely good. I use to
listen to it over and over
again. It's now a cult
classic.

I bought their second album,
thinking that it would rival
the first or be way better.
However it didn't seem to
match up.

I has a physics TA in college
that wore a Stone Roses
T-Shirt every day I saw him. I
asked him what happened to the
band. His response was that
they got front loaded a ton of
cash to make their next album
and perhaps got a little too
confident in their sound.
