Ludwig van Beethoven (born
17th December, 1770), is one
of the most cherished
composers of all time. He was
also an instrumentalist with
expertise in playing piano. He
was born in Bonn (Germany).
Later he moved to Vienna,
learned music and earned a
good name as a composer and
pianist.
He wanted to learn from Mozart
in Vienna but was unable to do
so. Instead he found another
master, Joseph Haydn in 1790
who taught him a great deal in
music. He also received
valuable teachings from names
like Ignaz Schuppanzigh,
Antonio Salieri and Johann
Albrechtsberger. In the 90s he
became well recognized for his
ability in music. In the same
era he started to work on his
compositions. Initially
influence of Mozart and Haydn
was seen in his work. But
later his music showed
individuality. His hearing
ability got deteriorated in
the 90s and slowly he became
completely deaf. But still he
managed to create and perform
his work.
He has produced music in
several genres. His symphonies
are still inspiring new
musicians.His contributions
are well recognized all over
the world. And he remains one
of the most crucial and
influential classical composer
the west has ever seen. He
died on 26th March 1827.
